The Man on the Fence

The man on the fence is a coward,

And with vitriol he must be showered,

For to arrive hence as a man on a fence

He must never have gave truth its hour.

Yet the man on the fence is a hero

Who partakes not in games summed to zero,

From the height he now sits as a man on a fence

His view both directions is clearer.

The man on the fence is confounding.

He's fickle but fickles profoundly.

Yes, I'm on the fence 'bout the man on the fence,

But I'd still pick him over a groundling.
