A lesson I learned (or perhaps relearned) this week.

Soldier Resurrected

Burn me to ashes, so I can be reborn.

I'm as dead as the past is, but that's the price of war.

Now this soldier resurrected is wide-eyed, marching reckless

Towards his chance to burn again, so let the blaze commence.
